Lightning & Surge Protection

Surges are often an underestimated risk, but these voltage pulses (transients) which only last for a split second can have a considerable detrimental impact on your premises electrical and IT systems. When lightning strikes nearby or the power utility infrastructure is subject to a disconnection, there is a potential for these extremely high transient voltages to feed into your buildings system and ‘frazzle’ your sensitive equipment. David Pearce Electrical can design and install a Transient Voltage Surge Suppression (TVSS) system which helps to massively reduce your exposure to critical productivity downtime.

Fire Alarm Installations

In 2005 the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order was drafted, which then came into force in England and Wales on the 1st of October 2006. The completion of a Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) is a fundamental requirement of this Order. Within the professional team at David Pearce Electrical we have the expertise to help and advise you on all aspects of the Regulatory Reform Order (RRO) to ensure that you are compliant and operating within the Law. Once your requirements have been identified David Pearce Electrical can design, install and maintain your fire alarm installation in accordance to BS 5839-1:2017.

In today’s connected world good Wi-Fi access is considered to be the norm. Driven by the needs of a client, David Pearce Electrical have invested considerable time in researching these technologies. We then completed a multi-site installation programme of specialist internet access points to provide Wi-Fi connectivity across thousands of metres of internal and external workplace.

Emergency Lighting Installations

Emergency lighting installation must be BS 5266-1:2016 compliant. David Pearce Electrical can design and install in accordance to your property's needs. We are able to offer traditional manual test and auto self-test luminaires. Our auto-test cloud based self-reporting installations can provide full test history documentation without the need for any user intervention.
