David Pearce Electrical was appointed the chosen contractor by Mr Riley to specify, install & commission the required three phase electric vehicle charging point at his domestic dwelling in Worcestershire.
About The Project
Another fantastic EV charging installation utilising the Zappi V2 (Myenergi) charging product. Configuring the existing distribution board to avail a spare three phase way, we were able to provide the client with a 22kW 32amp charging provision within his garage. With the integration of a CT clamp, we were able to utilise the customer's solar panels as a method of charging the vehicle. The three charging modes within the EV point provides scope for the client to charge the vehicle from either; a renewable source (PV array), direct from the grid or a combination of the two. As an approved OLEV installer, David Pearce Electrical were able to complete the installation of an approved vehicle charging point, taking advantage of the Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme Grant Funding, which provides £350 towards the installation costs.
