LED Lighting Systems

David Pearce Electrical has vast experience in the implementation of new lighting technologies. We will work with you to ensure that you invest wisely and achieve the solution which is correct for you. In some instances, we are even able to provide you with a 10-year product warranty.

Following the receipt of your initial enquiry, we will meet with you at your premises to discuss and review your needs. When we understand what you are looking to achieve, we will specify product, provide samples where required and complete computer aided designs to ensure the lighting levels are going to be in accordance to your requirements and compliance needs. We will provide you with a Return On Investment (ROI) calculation, discuss finance options and warranty packages. When the installation commences we will communicate with you as required to ensure the installation process is as smooth and efficient as possible. Our key objective is to provide you with a quality, value for money service, delivered on time, within budget and with the minimum of disruption to you and your workplace.

Lighting uses some 20% of the electricity generated in the UK. With the majority of current lighting systems still reliant on inefficient light sources there remains significant potential to move to low energy lighting such as LED.

Achieving the correct lighting levels is important for the energy efficiency of a building and the well-being of its occupants. Up to 40% of a building's electricity use is accounted for by lighting, while the right level and quality of light improves the alertness and accuracy of those working in it.

    Energy & Maintenance Savings

Switching to LED’s will have an immediate impact on your electricity bill as they use up to circa 90% less electricity than traditional incandescent lamps or fluorescent tubes. In addition to these savings on your energy consumption, there are equally sizable savings on reduced maintenance requirements due to the excellent life of LED product. 60,000 hours is now commonplace and in a 10 hours a day working environment that equates to in excess of 20 years!

  •

    Impressive Lighting Quality

The quality of artificial lighting is one of the most important influences on performance in the work place. Some 80% of our sensory input at work comes through our eyes; compromising our vision is therefore not an option when considering energy efficiency measures. A well-designed energy efficient lighting scheme can reduce the amount of electricity you consume, whilst increasing the quality of light to maintain or even improve the health, wellbeing and productivity of workers.

  •

    The Energy Technology List (ETL)

The ETL is a government list of energy saving products used by businesses. With nearly 17,000 listed products the ETL is one of the world’s largest databases of top performing energy saving products. Businesses that purchase products listed on the ETL can claim a 100% Enhanced Capital Allowance (tax relief) and will also benefit from reduced ongoing running costs, given that the products are the most efficient on the market.

  •

    LED Lighting Control Systems

Lighting controls offer further benefits than simply saving energy. Depending on the application they can improve comfort, reduce maintenance costs and can provide greater flexibility to the use of a workspace.

Occupancy sensors - By dimming or switching off lighting when there is nobody in a room, occupancy sensors can reduce electricity use by 30%.

Daylight sensors - Adjusting the artificial lighting according to the amount of natural light in a room, using daylight sensors or photocells can reduce electricity use by up to 40%.

  •

    LED Retro-Fit Lamp Installations

Installing retrofit kits to convert existing wire wound inefficient fluorescent light fittings to either T5 fluorescent or LED lamps can be a cost-effective way of reducing your energy consumption. Whilst there are many examples of successful installations a conversion will not be possible in every instance. There are important issues to consider before undertaking this process; ensuring that safety is maintained, that the final light levels are fit for purpose and ultimately savings successfully delivered. By contacting David Pearce Electrical, we can advise and guide you through the implementation of a solution which is tailored to your requirements.

  •

    Up To 10-Year Product Warranties

3 or even 5-year product warranties are commonplace in the LED world. Due to the partnership agreements David Pearce Electrical has in place with certain manufacturers we can offer an amazing 10-year product warranty when the installation is completed with SMART control.
