David Pearce Electrical was appointed the chosen contractor by Mr Finch to specify, install & commission the required single phase electric vehicle charging point at his domestic dwelling in Rugby.
About The Project
As an approved OLEV installer David Pearce Electrical were able to complete the installation of an approved vehicle charging point taking advantage of the Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme Grant Funding, providing £500 towards the installation costs. Before completing the works, a site survey was carried out including a maximum demand calculation to ensure the correct EV charging unit could be selected. We advised Mr Finch on the correct charger not just for his current car, but for any car he may purchase in the future, therefore future proofing the installation and maximising the benefit of his investment. We also advised on the correct charging lead for his vehicle. The installation was completed in accordance with BS7671:2008+AM3:2015.
